“Sports Museum”

ATA has worked with the staff of the Historical Society of Western PA to develop the design for the new "Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum" at the new Smithsonian Wing of the Senator John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

The 20,000 square foot exhibit explores the rich sports history of the region including the minor sports and heroes that the locals hold dear. Sports legends such Arnold Palmer and Roberto Clemente find a place next to the players of the Industrial Soccer and Baseball Leagues as well as other sports played by the many ethnic minorities present if the Pittsburgh area.

More than 70 interactive stations for kids and adults are located throughout the exhibit area.
