Gattis-Treu Residence

ATA completely renovated this original 2400 S.F. house. The design of the new home reconfigured the layout to take advantage of the site and its orientation. The existing portion of the house with a flat roof was demolished and rebuilt to new hurricane-proof standards. The goal of the renovation was to create a new home that while completely new would feel sympathetic in scale and design to the original.

The new pinwheel plan allows cross ventilation in all rooms of the house and it opens it to the backyard where a new pool is now the new focal point.
